Presenter ExWHUemployee has revealed that West Ham United defender Kurt Zouma is expected to be fit when domestic football returns.

It feels as if the break for the World Cup came at just the right time for the Hammers amid some poor form in the Premier League which sees them sit just one point and two places above the bottom three.

What’s more, it may have come just at the right time for defender Zouma who came off early in the recent game against Leicester City, being forced off with an injury just 15 minutes into the match.

As a result, there has been concern over the West Ham man since, but it seems as though the winter break will allow him sufficient time to fully recover.

Speaking on The West Ham Way podcast, Ex said (13:41): “Kurt Zouma went off injured in the last game against Leicester.

“He’s expected to be fit for when the season resumes.”
