Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison has been captured scoring a sensational goal during a recent training session for Brazil.

The 25-year-old has jetted off to Qatar to take part in the World Cup having only recently returned to action for Antonio Conte’s side after suffering a calf injury.

Richarlison’s injury issue was picked up back in October against his former side, Everton, and saw him miss four league games for the Lilywhites.

But he made his return to Premier League action on Saturday against Leeds United where he was able to get 69 minutes of action under his belt.

And he does not look to be missing any sharpness judging by the footage to emerge from the Brazilian camp, which shows the forward scoring a stunning volley in training.

Brazil kick off their World Cup journey next Thursday with a clash against Serbia, and it seems the Spurs man is doing all he can to earn himself a spot in Tite’s starting XI after he posted the footage on his Instagram account.

TIF Thoughts on the footage…

It has been a testing season so far for Richarlison, with the Brazilian struggling to get off the mark for Spurs in the Premier League as his only two goals for the Lilywhites have come in the Champions League.

The footage shows there are clearly no injury concerns from the Spurs man, as he’s seen throwing himself about acrobatically for the volley.

But Conte will be delighted to see this footage, as he’ll be hoping his 25-year-old forward can return to league action with the improved form he has shown for Brazil in the recent past.

In his last six games for Brazil, Richarlison has found the back of the net seven times and provided two assists – a record Conte will be hoping he can bring back to Spurs next month.
