Mehrdad Ghodoussi has sent an exciting message to Joe Willock after he netted his first Newcastle United goal of the season.
Newcastle have now secured a spot in the top four for the Premier League’s return after the World Cup after they convincingly won away to Southampton thanks to goals from Miguel Almiron, Chris Wood, Willock and Bruno Guimaraes.
Two of the scorers, Willock and Wood, netted for the first time this season and the former kept up an impressive record, with the midfielder only scoring away from home while fans have been in stadiums since he joined Newcastle permanently.
Newcastle co-owner Ghodoussi was clearly very happy for Willock and his future on Tyneside as he sent a simple yet exciting message to the midfielder on Instagram, claiming there’s ‘lots more to come’.

The Magpies have certainly taken the Premier League by storm this season, with their extremely late loss away to Liverpool their only defeat so far, while they have scored 11 goals in their last four league games.
While a lot has been made of the amount of money Newcastle have been able to spend in 2022, Eddie Howe also deserves a huge amount of credit for getting everything he can out of players such as Almiron and Willock this season.
Ghodoussi’s message certainly hints at the future being bright for both Willock and Newcastle, which will surely excite Toon fans as their fine form continues.
