Leeds United have no intention of sacking manager Jesse Marsch despite the pressure on the American coach, according to journalist Dean Jones.
Marsch will definitely have bought himself some time following the Whites’ thrilling 2-1 victory at Anfield last weekend.
However, it was their first win since 21st August and came after a run of five defeats in six games, leaving the manager to admit that he was under pressure at Elland Road.
However, it appears that his job may not be at risk for now.
Speaking to GiveMeSport, Jones said: “They definitely don’t want to sack Jesse Marsch. They put a lot of faith in him.
“They really, really scrutinised a lot of candidates for this job and decided that Jesse Marsch was the right profile and could give them the elevation that they needed to get up the league and they want to trust in him, and they want these players to trust him.”

Do you still want Marsch sacked?
Yes
No
The Whites spent around £90m in the summer window ahead of Marsch’s first full season at the club as they were forced to deal with the losses of key players Raphinha and Kalvin Phillips.
They are now 15th in the table following their victory over Liverpool, having been in a worse position after 11 games than last season prior to the win on Merseyside.
You could perhaps be of the impression that the board will consider the coach’s position during the mid-season break, however, having kept them up last season, we believe the former RB Leipzig manager at least deserves to return after Christmas.
The West Yorkshire club had 15 points from their first 14 matches in the league last term, meaning a win over Bournemouth this Saturday could take them to that same figure a game earlier than in the previous campaign.
