Journalist Beren Cross has claimed that Jesse Marsch will have to make a ‘big call’ on whether to start Luis Sinisterra in the next Leeds United game.

In the Whites’ last match, they managed to claim an improbable and famous win away from home in the Premier League, beating Liverpool 2-1 at Anfield.

At the heart of that victory was Crysencio Summerville, who netted the winner in the last minute. However, he may have only been in the starting lineup due to an injury to Sinisterra.

After the youngster’s recent success, though, Marsch may be tempted to keep his Leeds United starting team the same, which could mean benching Sinisterra even if he is fit enough to start.

Cross reacted to this potential dilemma on Twitter, saying: “If Sinisterra recovers for Saturday, there’s a big call for Marsch to make and not one many of us would have expected at the height of the summer window.”

The journalist further elaborated on the dilemma in a post for LeedsLive, where he explained that Sinisterra has been ‘arguably the team’s best attacker this season’, so if he is fit, Marsch has a really tricky call on his hands.

He also spoke about Jack Harrison as a possible option to drop. After all, has yet to deliver any sort of goal contribution since the third Premier League game of the campaign (via Transfermarkt).

Of course, this may be all elementary if Sinisterra is unable to recover from his injury in time, but at the very least, with Summerville emerging as a strong senior option, Marsch will be glad to have a number of choices on the flanks as opposed to an issue with depth.
