Leeds United have now been linked with a potential move for the Torino midfielder Sasa Lukic ahead of the January transfer window.

However, presenter Ger Lynch has shared his concerns over the potential signing when speaking on the Leeds United – The View YouTube channel.

According to reports in Italy, the Whites could now rival Roma in the possible January race for the Torina man who is looking for an exit from the Serie A side.

Victor Orta added to Jesse Marsch’s midfield over the summer with Tyler Adams, but it seems as if Leeds may now be looking to find him a partner to solidify the middle of the park.

First up, which of these World Cup debutants could Leeds go back in for this winter?

Lukic has now made 12 league appearances this season in which he has grabbed himself two goals but it is the notion of him pining for a move away which has Lynch concerned by a potential attitude issue:

(7:20) “It’s an interesting one because there’s an attitudinal piece there isn’t there. Like if he’s trying to get away from a club, do we want that kind of player? We’ve had a few of them in the past ourselves.”

TIF Thoughts on Lynch’s comments…

We can understand why Lynch may have some potential concerns about Lukic’s current situation, however, he has remained a key part of the side despite this.

Do Leeds need to strengthen midfield?

Yes

No

It could well be a case of the 26-year-old just looking to force a move away from the club which has not been accepted by the Italian outfit – which is seen often across the game.

And with the likes of Adam Forshaw not playing much of a role this season under Marsch, we think the midfield is a big area of improvement the Whites should be looking at ahead of January.
