Leeds United are now looking at the possibility of bringing Christian Pulisic to Elland Road on a permanent deal.
And presenter of the Leeds United – The View YouTube channel, Ger Lynch, has been left buzzing at the prospect of signing the United States international.
It has been reported that Chelsea and Pulisic are now keen on parting ways on a permanent basis, following reports of a potential loan switch over the summer.
And it has been reported in recent months that the Whites are one of the clubs who would have an interest in the winger if he is to become available in the coming months.
The 24-year-old is currently impressing on the biggest stage of them all at the World Cup, having scored and provided an assist in his three group stage games, leaving Lynch purring at the prospect of signing Pulisic.
He said: “A player that Leeds are big, big admirers of, and a player that would do an awful lot for Leeds.
“I think he would suit Leeds’ style of play very much.”
TIF Thoughts on Lynch’s comments…
Pulisic has had his struggles since signing for the Blues, with his game time becoming a lot less frequent recently, having started just three league games this season.
Could Leeds actually attract Pulisic?
Yes
No
The American is currently away with Leeds duo Brenden Aaronson and Tyler Adams with the USMNT, and Jesse Marsch has previously spoken of his admiration for the Chelsea winger:
“Christian, I think, is a big, big talent – the biggest in our country. The expectations for someone like him – transfer fees, clubs he’s been at – are very high and I think he’s met a lot of those high expectations,” Marsch said.
However, it has been claimed the likes of Manchester United and Newcastle United are showing an interest in Pulisic, so it does feel as if the Whites would be up against it if they decide to pursue the American.
