CBS Sports journalist Ben Jacobs has suggested that Youri Tielemans is “keeping himself on the market” amid interest from Arsenal.
Tielemans has consistently been linked with the Gunners in recent transfer windows.
Talk has been fuelled by the Belgian maestro refusing to pen an extension at Leicester City.
His current deal expires at the end of the campaign, and journalist Paul Brown recently suggested that the 25-year-old will likely run his contract down at the King Power Stadium.
The 54-cap ace has been influential in the Foxes’ recent uplift in form – even skippering the side in recent weeks – but he could leave for nothing in the summer.
Speaking to Football Transfers, Jacobs said: “Tielemans has got a real opportunity. He is going to put himself again in the shop window with a good World Cup.
“The other thing is that, unlike perhaps James Maddison, who will have offers but is not driving his way out of the club, Youri Tielemans at the moment – even though he’s not being aggressive like Wesley Fofana was in trying to force his way out of the club – he’s driving himself out of the club in the sense that he’s keeping himself on the market.
“And the way he’s doing that is by not signing a new deal at Leicester and that will allow somebody to come in and get him on a free transfer in the summer.
“And that might well still be Arsenal, but there’s lots of other clubs circling.”

To bring in an FA Cup winner with 135 appearances in the top flight under his belt seems like a no-brainer for the current league leaders, but given they could face some stiff competition for his signature, this is by no means a done deal.
