Arsenal are confident the trio Bukayo Saka, William Saliba and Gabriel Martinelli will put pen to paper on new deals in north London.

This has been suggested by the journalist Ben Jacobs who has been speaking on the latest edition of the Done Deal Show to discuss the latest transfer news at Arsenal.

It has been a stunning start to the campaign for Mikel Arteta and his men with three points on the weekend guaranteeing them the top spot going into the World Cup break.

Starting with the club's £60m summer signing, which of these players could Richarlison be facing?

And it seems things could get even better for the Gunners who have a number of players such as these three who are set to have their contracts expire in the summer of 2024.

Although the trio are set to head off to Qatar in the coming weeks, Jacobs believes there is a feeling of confidence surrounding their long-term futures at the Emirates Stadium:

“So the short answer – not that I ever give one – but the short answer is that Saliba is expected to sign, Arsenal are confident that he will sign they’re equally as confident that Martinelli will sign and that Saka will sign.”

TIF Thoughts on Jacobs’ comments…

This will obviously be music to the ears of everyone involved at Arsenal with the three players in question playing such significant roles in Arteta’s starting XI (via Transfermarkt).

Do Arsenal need more signings in January?

No

And what is perhaps most important about these potential new deals is the three players in question are all just 21 years of age which will potentially offer Arsenal long-term starters in those positions.

With the club where they are currently, there will be the hope Edu Gaspar is able to keep the core group of players together for years to come with Arteta getting the very best out of this current crop of players.
