Hamish Carton of the 67 Hail Hail YouTube channel has slammed Josip Juranovic after his shocking Celtic display as the defender scored an own goal.
Celtic went into the game against Motherwell under pressure knowing that losing would see them relinquish top spot at this early stage of the season, despite recording an emphatic Old Firm victory not too long ago.
Therefore, many would have been very happy when Kyogo put them into an early lead, only for Juranovic to chest the ball beyond the on-rushing Joe Hart and draw Motherwell level just before half-time.
As a result of that own goal, Carton took to Twitter to slam the Croatian international, saying: “Juranovic has been totally abysmal so far today.”

It will have been a slightly worrying and stressful half-time period for some Celtic fans as their side failed to capitalise on chances that presented themselves against Motherwell before conceding an avoidable own goal.
While Juranovic certainly didn’t cover himself in glory for the own goal as there appeared to be a lack of communication with Joe Hart over what was happening, he has been impressive on the whole since signing last summer, racking up over 40 appearances and registering nine goal involvements.
The Croatian international though did nothing to help his cause on Saturday afternoon, as he failed to win a single tackle against Motherwell and was dispossessed three times at Celtic Park (WhoScored).
