Journalist Graeme Bailey believes that Tottenham Hotspur are worried about Harry Kane’s future amid interest from Bayern Munich.

In what has very quickly become a frustrating season for Spurs, they still find themselves third in the Premier League, but their last four results don’t make for pleasant reading, having won just once across all competitions.

Something else that is seemingly now worrying people at Tottenham is Kane’s future, with Bayern Munich reportedly waiting to strike up a deal for the England international.

Bailey has claimed on the Talking Transfers podcast that Spurs are worried about Bayern Munich’s interest in Kane.

He said: “I still think Harry Kane is the one to keep an eye on with Bayern, I think it’s a really interesting option for them. And it’s one that Tottenham are worried about.

“He would fit in well there. Bayern are looking around, taking their time.”

TIF Thoughts on Kane’s future…

This may well be Tottenham’s last season to convince Kane that staying with them is the best thing for his career, as he will be looking to pick up some silverware before he retires – and if Spurs aren’t challenging this campaign, he may assess his options.

As things stand, Kane will likely be content with life at Tottenham after an impressive transfer window and with Antonio Conte still at the helm, although recent performances and results – especially in the Champions League – won’t have gone down well.

It would be criminal for a striker of Kane’s calibre to end his career having not lifted any silverware, so a move to Bayern could well be appealing given he would have no competition for a starting spot over there and would likely lift the Bundesliga given how dominant the Bavarian side have been in recent times.
