TIF Thoughts on the attack and Leeds…

In fairness to the club, they have scored 11 league goals and conceded 12, so things are pretty balanced. It shows that if they can just be a little more clinical in front of goal, they should be able to start picking up more points soon.

As Donnohue points out, it’s not as if they are short of options in attack, either. Big money was spent on bringing in players such as Brenden Aaronson and Luis Sinisterra in the summer, while players such as Patrick Bamford, Rodrigo and Jack Harrison have indeed proven themselves to be capable goal threats in recent seasons.

And so, while the defence did let in five goals in their recent defeat to Brentford, Leeds have only been beaten by one-goal margins in their other losses this term – showing how tight their matches have been.

It does seem as though as a unit, the frontline is still waiting to truly start operating at its best. If Jesse Marsch can figure out a way to get the players linking up with a real sense of synergy, the Whites could soon shoot up the table.

Would you drop Rodrigo for this next game?
