Leeds United may have now been handed an injury boost ahead of Sunday’s Premier League return with Rodrigo spotted in training at Thorp Arch.

The Spaniard was pictured at the Yorkshire training ground and was posted onto Joel Robles’ Instagram story on Thursday evening.

Rodrigo has now been out of action for a number of weeks having sustained a shoulder injury in the game against Everton back in August.

Marsch’s men return to action after a one-month break from action in front of the Elland Road crowd against Aston Villa on the back of a three-game run without a win.

With the Whites now looking to get back up and running in style, it seems as if their top scorer could well be in contention for the clash against Steven Gerrard’s men having participated in training this week.

TIF Thoughts on Rodrigo’s potential return…

This will certainly offer a lot of optimism among the Leeds fans with Rodrigo making such an impressive start to the new campaign under Marsch.

With Patrick Bamford also having his own injury issues this season, the Spaniard has certainly stepped up to provide the Whites with a – perhaps unexpected – reliable source of goals.

Rodrigo has not exactly been prolific since arriving in Yorkshire, however, Leeds fans will be hoping he can return to the side and the scoresheet on Sunday with the Whites scoring just three in their last three league outings.
