Journalist Joe Chapman has claimed that West Bromwich Albion may go back into the market for more free signings after the arrival of Tom Rogic.
Although the transfer window is shut, clubs in England are still able to sign players who are unattached following the expiry of their contracts.
However, according to Chapman, West Brom ‘are ideally not done in the free market’ and may still seek out a new forward and full-back.

With that in mind, he’ll hope to improve the team – who sit 16th in the league ahead of the midweek fixtures – in no time at all. Even so, more players may be needed in the short term to provide extra depth.
As Chapman mentions, Daryl Dike’s thigh injury is an issue to consider. He looks to be out for a while, but it remains unclear exactly how long that will be. And so, the club must be careful of how they go about their business, as they don’t want to spend money on someone who won’t be playing much after the American returns.
