Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou claiming he’s “living the dream” whilst managing the Scottish champions is all that the club’s supporters will have wanted to hear.

That is according to Dean Jones, who was speaking to This is Futbol about the latest news on the Hoops during the international break.

Having been linked to the Brighton and Hove Albion job earlier in the month, there has been increasing speculation on Postecoglou’s future at Celtic Park.

However, in an interview with Fox Sports Australia (via FourFourTwo), the Celtic boss claimed that he was “living the dream” managing the Glasgow giants, and seemed to rule out the possibility of leaving the club at this point in time.

And Jones believes that this is all that Celtic fans wanted to hear from the Australian, and the thought of losing him would be a nightmare.

“It’s all they want to hear!

“The idea of losing him would be the worst nightmare.

“I’m not surprised he’s loving it though, there are very few places in world football where you get idolised in the way he is right now.”

Interesting first question, how many Celtic fans were inside Ibrox?

TIF Thoughts on Jones’ comments

We believe that Postecoglou’s next role in management will have to be very carefully selected, following the success and adoration he is currently experiencing in Glasgow at the moment.

He knows that there are a very limited number of clubs south of the border that are bigger than the club he’s currently at now, and it would seem unlikely that he would land one of those jobs at the time of writing.

Therefore, we think it’s fantastic news for Celtic that the former Australia manager has expressed his happiness in the current role is in, and they will hope that he will be at Celtic Park for many years to come.
