Presenter Chris Cowlin has been left impressed by the actions of Ivan Perisic during matches with Tottenham Hotspur so far.
The Croatian joined Spurs on a free transfer this summer, reuniting with head coach Antonio Conte after his contract at Inter came to an end.
And it seems as though he is making a positive impact already in north London. Indeed, while talking about the wing-back on his YouTube channel, Cowlin praised Perisic for his ‘experience’.
In particular, he noted his ability to mentor Ryan Sessegnon in games, as well as highlighting one recent incident in particular where he asked the ballboys to help Tottenham by being a little quicker with their actions.
Cowlin explained: “I think Ivan Perisic is going to be a great mentor for Ryan Sessegnon. And every time when you see him playing, he’s going over, he’s giving him advice, which is fantastic.
“Even a couple of weeks ago at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, I noticed that Ivan Perisic went over to one of the ballboys and told them to be quicker, keep an eye on the game and then pass the ball quicker to the team.
“I love things like that, and that showed real experience and real quality that he’s going to bring to Spurs.”

TIF Thoughts on Ivan Perisic and Spurs…
Having won a number of trophies before joining up with Spurs – such as league titles in Germany and Italy – it would be expected that Perisic could bring plenty of experience to the team.
However, still only being in the infancy of his Tottenham career, it may have taken him a while to settle in. But these latest comments suggest that he is already making a big impact, notably with fellow wing-back Sessegnon, who is still only 22 years old.
After six Premier League outings and just three starts, Perisic has three assists on the pitch – but it seems like he’s offering much more in games beyond just that as well.
