Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane could be set for another transfer saga next summer with Bayern Munich showing their interest.

This has been suggested by the journalist Paul Brown who has been discussing the England captain’s future with GiveMeSport.

According to reports, Bayern are already considering a potential swoop for the Spurs striker next summer having seen Robert Lewandowski leave just the other month.

Kane has made an electric start to the 2022/23 campaign with six goals to show from his opening seven league appearances under Antonio Conte.

But Brown believes Bayern are now desperate to bring in a new striker and are willing to pay big money with Kane reportedly high on their radar:

“Several people at the club have been asked about Kane and given honest answers in the public domain. That’s normally a sign that, when you’re a club like Bayern, you’re giving a signal out to both the player and his club that you’re interested.

“Sometimes that’s not always welcomed by the club. I can remember a similar thing happening with Gareth Bale and Real Madrid all those years ago and Spurs did not respond well to that either.

“In the end, I don’t think Bayern made a big push for Kane when the City stuff was first around or since, but it certainly sounds like he’s someone they have high on their list for next summer. They need a striker quite badly and they’re willing to pay big money for one.”

TIF Thoughts on Brown’s comments…

We think there should probably be some concerns among those at Spurs over Kane’s future with a potential move to Bayern likely to offer the Englishman almost-guaranteed trophies.

Do you think Kane would leave for Bayern?

No

Kane has already shown he would be willing to leave his boyhood club having pushed for the proposed move to Manchester City last summer.

However, Kane ultimately has the power to shut down these rumours by putting pen to paper on a new and improved deal with the Lilywhites – something he is said to be open to considering.

But as he turns 30 next summer, could this potential offer from Bayern prove too big of an opportunity to turn down at this stage of his career?
