Journalist Alan Pattullo was left impressed by the performance of Daizen Maeda in Celtic’s most recent victory.
The Bhoys claimed an easy three points over the weekend as they cruised past Kilmarnock away from home with a 5-0 victory thanks to goals from Kyogo Furuhashi, Jota, Moritz Jenz, Carl Starfelt and Giorgos Giakoumakis.
At the very heart of that win, Maeda delivered two assists in a fine display that had pundits purring after the match. Indeed, Pattullo gave the forward a 7/10 for his efforts in his player ratings for The Scotsman.
He also wrote: “Industrious as ever and can claim an assist for the first two Celtic goals although his part in the first was slightly more profound than the second, when he just laid the ball off for Jota to do the rest.”
