ExWHUemployee has revealed that West Ham United could soon make a move for Piotr Zielinski.

During July, the Hammers were linked with a move for the Napoli midfielder, with recruitment head Rob Newman said to be keen on the player.

At the time, it looked as though arranging a deal could be difficult as the transfer valuation of the player between West Ham and the Italian club didn’t match up.

Despite this, it now looks as though the Premier League outfit could be back in for the ‘amazing‘ star again, with Ex stating that Napoli may now be prepared to listen to a lower offer.

In an update shared to The West Ham Way Patreon page, Ex said: “There is also a possibility that the club could move for Zielinski again, with his club Napoli making noises that they may be prepared to listen to a lower offer. This hasn’t happened as yet, however.”

TIF Thoughts on Piotr Zielinski and West Ham…

It could certainly come as good news to West Ham if Napoli are indeed happy to lower their asking price for the 28-year-old.

Indeed, the Hammers have faced a similar issue with Amadou Onana at Lille, where his club’s ‘ridiculous’ transfer valuation may well have scuppered any transfer.

But if David Moyes and co can make a more realistic move for Zielinski in the coming weeks, it looks as though the 72-cap Poland star could well be on his way to England.

Although, as Ex mentions, the deal isn’t close yet, with Napoli yet to officially lower their demands, so this is one to keep an eye on.
