ExWHUemployee has claimed that West Ham United will move in for Conor Gallagher if he is made available this summer.

According to 90min, West Ham United are one of the sides who have enquired about signing Conor Gallagher in this summer transfer window, but they face stiff competition from fellow Premier League clubs such as Crystal Palace and Newcastle United.

Gallagher spent last season on loan with Crystal Palace, and he was impressive after featuring 34 times in the Premier League, where he scored eight times and chipped in with three assists, which was enough to earn himself Player of the Season for the Eagles.

With several Premier League clubs showing interest in Gallagher this summer, ExWHUemployee claimed that the Hammers will certainly move for him if he is made available by Chelsea this summer.

“We are in continuous dialogue with Chelsea for Connor Gallagher and will move for him if he is made available,” Ex said.

TIF Thoughts on Ex’s comments…

Although Ex has claimed that West Ham will go after Gallagher, it is not certain that he is going to be made available by Chelsea, he came off the bench in the dying embers of the game against Everton on Saturday in the opening fixture of the Premier League, but the club are supposedly keen on keeping him.

However, the 22-year-old might be keen to force a move away from the club this summer if he is not promised regular football, because he had such a productive campaign last term and will be keen to progress in that this year and push on.

With the World Cup coming up in November, Gallagher will want to be playing regular football, and he will be expected to get that if he joined West Ham, so he might be fond of the idea of joining the club, so it will be interesting to see if Chelsea let him go.
