Tottenham Hotspur could now see the futures of Harry Winks and Tanguy Ndombele become clearer in the coming days.

This is what transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has claimed on the Here We Go podcast whilst discussing the work still left to do for Fabio Paratici this summer.

Antonio Conte now has six new faces to choose from going into the new campaign, however, there has not been as many players departing Hotspur Way.

Joe Rodon was announced as a Rennes player on Monday after sealing his loan deal with the Ligue 1 side, which includes the option to make it permanent.

But Romano does not believe the Welshman will be the only departure in the coming days, with Ndombele and Winks also expected to part ways with the Lilywhites.

He said: “Ndombele and Winks are two players who could be on the move in the next days. So Tottenham are working on the outgoings and then we will see if they will find some other opportunity for new signings.”

TIF Thoughts on Romano’s comments…

We are not too surprised to hear Spurs are struggling to offload Ndombele given his incredibly high weekly wage and lack of output in recent years.

Is Ndombele Tottenham's worst ever signing?

Reports in France have suggested Turkish side Galatasaray are now showing an interest in the Frenchman after Lyon decided not to make his loan deal permanent earlier this summer.

However, we are slightly more surprised to see Winks still at Spurs with the new campaign now just a few days away and the Englishman clearly not in Conte’s plans.

There had been reports suggesting Everton were interested in Winks at one point this window and we would have thought the 26-year-old would have been doing everything he can to force a move away from N17.
