Journalist Dean Jones would not totally rule out a transfer back to Southampton for Armando Broja this summer.
90min has reported that Southampton are continuing their interest in Broja, who spent last season on loan with the club, where he found the back of the net nine times in 38 appearances in all competitions.
With Broja still currently a Chelsea player, Jones spoke to GiveMeSport and claimed that he would not rule out a move back to Southampton for him before the transfer window ends.
He said: “It does look like they’re going to struggle for goals. They could still go back in for Broja. All the time that he stays at Chelsea and other clubs look elsewhere, it builds the case that Southampton could yet go back for Broja. I wouldn’t totally rule that one out.”

TIF Thoughts on Jones’ comments…
Last term was Broja’s first full season playing at the top level in England, and at just 20 years old, showed great potential for the Saints, which led to several other clubs showing interest in his services this summer such as West Ham United.
However, the Hammers have recently secured the signing of Gianluca Scamacca, so may not be in the market for another striker, which could boost the chances of Southampton signing Broja if the Albanian forward is keen to leave Chelsea and join a club where he will feature regularly.
Meanwhile, Southampton forward Che Adams has been linked with a move to Leeds United as they look to bolster their attacking options, so if he does part ways, Ralph Hasenhuttl will have to act fast to bring in another forward – and Broja could be the man to step up and be the main attacker at the club once again next season.
