According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Leicester City have accepted that star man Youri Tielemans will leave this summer and are prepared to accept a bid if they deem it a fair price.Â
The Foxes have struggled to bring in any players this summer and it is believed they will need to sell some of their valuable players if they are to spend big and bring in some reinforcement ahead of the Premier League season.
One of these players that look destined to depart the King Power Stadium is Tielemans, who has garnered interest from the likes of Arsenal, and Jacobs believes the club are prepared to accept a deal if the right price comes in.
Jacobs told Steve Wraith, “My ranking, if you like, from talking to sources, although no one source will actually list them in this order. So, I’m giving you a mixture of my opinion, but informed from talking to sources, particularly within the club and close to the players is that Leicester accepts Tielemans will go for the right price.
“And if a fair offer is made, because his contract is running down, they will sell him, and then it’s potentially Tielemans plus one other but all of the other three that I’m about to mention, require big, big prices above market value because they’re in Leicester’s control”. (5:11)

There is no doubt that Tielemans will eventually leave the Foxes this summer as his contract runs out next summer and the club will want to cash in on him rather than lose him for free, which does not help their finances.
Tielemans will be a huge miss for Leicester and they will find it hard to replace the Belgian international after he picked up seven goals and five assists in all competitions and ranked in the 89th percentile for expected assists, 88th for progressive passes, and 85th for shot-creating actions compared to other midfielders in Europe’s top five leagues.
It is unknown how much they will end up getting for their star man, but considering he is in the final year of his contract, they will struggle to get a free that matches his importance to the team and his ability.
