Leeds United winger Jack Harrison has accepted there is ‘lots to work on’ after his club’s disappointing draw over the weekend.
Having won at home in their opening Premier League fixture, the Whites looked set for another three points this weekend on Saturday.
However, despite leading 2-0 until the 72nd minute of the game against Southampton, Jesse Marsch’s men let things slip as they conceded twice late on to draw the match 2-2.
In response to the lost points, Harrison took to Instagram after the game to send a clear message, writing: “Frustrating result, lots to work on but staying positive going forward.”
TIF Thoughts on Leeds United and Jack Harrison…
The winger has made a pretty good start to the season, picking up two assists in his first two outings – helping Leeds go unbeaten in this early stage of the Premier League campaign.
However, despite the positives, with his side so close to claiming six points out of six, it’s easy to see why he has decided to bemoan the ‘frustrating’ final result and highlighted the need for more work.
Considering Harrison has been linked with a move to Newcastle United in recent times, fans will certainly be glad to see him still delivering on the pitch, while this latest message suggests that he is firmly focused on doing his best with Leeds for the time being, which bodes well for the future.
