YouTuber Joe Wainman has claimed that he is concerned Leeds United winger Jack Harrison could be snapped up this summer.

Harrison has been heavily linked with a move away from Leeds throughout the summer transfer window and has had a terrific start to the season, with one goal and three assists to his name already.

However, the Whites have rejected two bids from Newcastle United for their 25-year-old winger.

With interest in Harrison this summer, Wainman spoke on the JustJoe Football Show and claimed that he is worried about his future with the mega-rich Magpies circling.

He said: “I am concerned about Newcastle, because we know they’ve got money. And obviously, Eddie Howe is really, really keen on Jack Harrison – and his performances this season will have only strengthened his resolve in trying to sign him.”

TIF Thoughts on Wainman’s comments…

With Newcastle already having two bids rejected from Leeds for their pacey winger, it will be interesting to see how much higher the Magpies will go without Leeds giving in and accepting an offer – as there might come a stage where they receive an offer that they can’t reject.

However, after the start that Leeds have had, Jesse Marsch might be keen to do all he can to keep the players that he currently has in the squad, and maybe even make a few more additions to improve the depth.

Meanwhile, with Newcastle looking like spending £60m on Alexander Isak since Wainman’s comments emerged, we think he will be resting a little easier now as the Toon appear set for a big-money move in the coming days that would surely rule them out of the running for Harrison.
