Trusted journalist Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Crystal Palace are still interested in signing Aaron Wan-Bissaka this summer.
Even before the current transfer market had opened or Erik ten Hag has arrived at Manchester United, it was reported by ESPN that the right-back would be up for sale.
However, as of yet, no deal has been sorted and Wan-Bissaka remains with the Red Devils for now. But in a new update on the player, Romano has stated that United are hoping to find a solution, with Palace supposedly interested in a move.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Romano explained his understanding of the situation, stating just how much Ten Hag is happy for the defender to leave.
He said: “Man United hope to find a solution with Crystal Palace interested, but they hope really to find the club for him.”

Wan-Bissaka made 20 Premier League appearances last season – 14 fewer than the campaign before – while he is yet to feature even once this term, so it is clear how his importance in the team has diminished.
Despite that, Palace should be well-placed to know his quality and potential. Of course, the defender played for the Eagles before joining United, appearing 46 times for the south London club.
And so, with United evidently so keen to sell, and Crystal Palace knowing the 24-year-old so well, it does seem as though this could be a deal that happens before the transfer window slams shut.
What’s more, considering the player being out of favour, if Patrick Vieira and co were to sign him, they would likely be able to bring him in for much less than the £50m United had to pay back in 2019.
All in all, this looks like it could be a good transfer for the Eagles.
