Patrick Vieira has not ‘ruled out’ the possibility of bringing Aaron Wan-Bissaka back to Crystal Palace this summer.

Back in May Fabrizio Romano revealed that a return to Selhurst Park could well be on the cards for the Manchester United right-back but there was still no decision on the “player’s side.”

The 24-year-old came through the ranks at the south London club before securing a £50m move to Old Trafford.

However, his current rival at right-back, Diogo Dalot, is thought to be ‘really appreciated’ by Erik ten Hag and with Denzel Dumfries high on United’s list of targets (Sports Witness via Tuttosport) Wan-Bissaka could be deemed surplus to requirements.

That could leave the door open for a potential return to SE 25 with Sheth discussing the Eagles’ stance on Sky Sports YouTube channel.

He said: (1:03)”Crystal Palace boss Patrick Vieira has not ruled out the possibility of Manchester United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka returning to Selhurst Park.”

TIF Thoughts on Wan-Bissaka and Palace…

Would you like Palace to sign Wan-Bissaka?

Yes!

Yes!

No!

No!

The £22.5m-rated full-back, who has been praised as ‘absolutely class’, is in the final two years of his contract in Manchester and while Vieira does have options right-back, Nathaniel Clyne is 31 with both Martin Kelly and Joel Ward now 32 so they will need a long-term replacement.

During his last season at Selhurst Park, Wan-Bissaka was named the 2018/19 Crystal Palace player of the season and he could be persuaded to return to his roots, perhaps emulating the career that Wilfried Zaha has carved out for himself after failed move to one of the league’s big hitters.
