Journalist Pete O’Rourke has claimed that Edouard Michut would be a big signing for Celtic if he was to join them in this summer transfer window.
According to Sky Sports, Celtic are keen on luring Edouard Michut to the club in this summer transfer window with the deal set to be around £2m for the 19-year-old midfielder if he was to join the Scottish Premiership side.
Michut was implemented into the Paris Saint-Germain first-team last season, and he went on to make five appearances in Ligue 1 for the French side.
As Michut has been linked with a move to Celtic this summer, O’Rourke told Football FanCast that he does not think it will be an easy deal to complete but the idea of playing in the Champions League could be appealing to the youngster.
“I don’t think it’s going to be an easy deal to do but maybe the chance of first-team football and playing in the Champions League is something that could lure Michut to Celtic Park. If they can get one of the top young talents from PSG I think it would be a big, big signing for Postecoglou going forward,” O’Rourke said.

TIF Thoughts on O’Rourke’s comments…
Celtic have made five signings in this summer transfer window, but three of those have been players that were already at the club last season, so Ange Postecoglou might be keen to get some new faces in the door at Celtic Park before the end of the window.
The ‘fantastic’ talent is just 19-years-old and is a product of the PSG academy, so he could be a good addition to the Hoops squad because he could be part of the future of the club, and the move could be beneficial for the player because it is not likely that he will be getting game time in the big games for his current side due to the talent in their squad.
