Journalist Dharmesh Sheth has claimed that West Ham United might be able to get three or four signings over the line in the next week.
West Ham United have signed three players so far in this summer transfer window, but they missed out on signing former player Jesse Lingard who was available on a free transfer, as newly promoted to the Premier League Nottingham Forest were able to offer the attacker what he wanted.
The Hammers have been linked with several players this summer, including Armando Broja and Gianluca Scamacca as David Moyes is looking to bolster his attacking options ahead of next season.
Despite missing out on signing Jesse Lingard this summer, Sheth spoke to GiveMeSport and claimed that the Hammers could get three or four new players in the door over the next week or so.
“The Jesse Lingard situation, that wasn’t a priority position as such. You could call it almost a priority player.
“Potentially, if everything went as West Ham fans would want it, they could get three, maybe even four, signings over the line in the next week or so,” Sheth said.

TIF Thoughts on Sheth’s comments…
With West Ham missing out on Lingard this summer, they will most likely want to bring in an attacker before the start of the season because they are seemingly short in that area of the pitch, which is why Moyes will be looking to either to push forward on either the Scamacca or Broja deal.
The Hammers have managed to strengthen the defensive area of the pitch with Nayef Aguerd, and they could look to bring in Amadou Onana who occupies the defensive midfield role, as they have submitted a third bid in the region of £32m after they had two previously bids for the midfielder rejected by LOSC Lille.
