Insider ExWHUemployee has claimed that West Ham United hope to sign three or four more players before the transfer window shuts.

With August fast approaching, and the new Premier League season now clear on the horizon, many clubs will feel as though they have done the bulk of their summer business already.

And the Hammers have certainly made plenty of good moves up to this point with the likes of Gianluca Scamacca, Nayef Aguerd, Flynn Downes, and Alphonse Areola all joining.

However, Ex has claimed that on top of those four deals, potentially four more players could end up joining West Ham before the end of the window.

Indeed, while speaking on The West Ham Way Patreon, the transfer insider said: “I have been told that with a month of the window remaining the club still hope to bring in another 3-4 players.”

TIF thoughts on West Ham and their transfer aims…

As things stand, the likes of Armando Broja and Filip Kostic are two names that seem to be popping up often in the media and so it wouldn’t be a shock to see West Ham chase the additions of those two.

On top of that, recent injury issues in the heart of defence has led to some talk of a new centre-back coming in before the market comes to an end. While a possible midfield signing – such as Napoli’s Piotr Zielinski – has also been linked in recent times.

Taking that all into account, it’s easy to see who those targets could be if Ex’s claim is true and West Ham really do want to complete a selection of transfers over the next month.
