Footage has emerged online showing Dejan Kulusevski scoring an absolute ‘worldie’ in Tottenham training.

Following the conclusion of their pre-season tour of South Korea, Spurs have since returned to N17 in preparation for their final two matches ahead of the fast-approaching Premier League campaign.

Kulusevski, who pulled out of an open training session earlier this month, appears to have avoided any serious injury prior to the friendly with K-League All Stars and played a half in the 1-1 draw with Sevilla a few days later.

With just a fortnight to go to the opening of the domestic season where the Lilywhites will host Tottenham, Antonio Conte has been putting his side through their paces at Hotspur Way and in a video uploaded to the club’s YouTube channel, Kulusevski looks fit and firing.

At the start of the video, he is soon coolly bringing the ball down during a shooting drill before thrashing the ball into the top corner on the half volley as seen here.

TIF Thoughts on Kulusevski and Spurs…

Conte was quick to return to Juventus to bring in both Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur in January and now ahead of his first full season in north London, both the manager and the Swedish international will be hoping to pick up where they left off.

The 22-year-old has quickly established himself as the first-choice right-winger at the club scoring five goals and producing a further eight assists in 18 top-flight appearances.

He averaged a goal involvement every 97 minutes during the second half of last term and finished fourth among his teammates for average SofaScore rating for the campaign with 7.21.

Only Heung-Min Son, Harry Kane and Bentancur outperformed the 25-cap Swedish ace and fans will be hoping the footage from training is a sign of more to come in 2022/23.
