Leeds United director of football Victor Orta has been described as ‘volatile’ by the agent of numerous Whites stars, Hayden Evans.
The agent of players such as Charlie Cresswell and Jamie Shackleton has been discussing Leeds’ summer transfer business on The Phil Hay Show.
It has been a busy summer in all aspects for the Whites this summer with six new players coming through the doors of Elland Road but their two star players, Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha, both earning big-money moves.
And it does not seem as if Jesse Marsch’s side are done in the market with a new striker believed to be on the radar for Orta with the likes of Arnaud Kalimuendo said to be one of the targets.
“I find him very fair. I mean, he can be volatile like we know, and that’s reflected sometimes if he’s not getting completely his own way, and in any negotiation, but ultimately, I have no complaints at all. I’ve found him really fair.”
“I do [think he’s done well at Leeds], yeah, personally. I know a lot of people disagree with that. But no, I think he has.”
TIF Thoughts on Evans’ comments…
This may not be a surprise to some Leeds fans who may have seen Orta’s volatility in person with the Leeds figure previously seen venting his frustrations with some fans at a Whites game.
Are you pleased with Leeds' summer business?
And in terms of behind-the-scenes situations, the Spaniard was seen on the Leeds documentary displaying his overwhelming emotions as their proposed deal for Daniel James fell flat.
However, Evans did say Orta has done good for the club and it is apparent he has been busy this summer and his work may not be done just yet in this window.
