Leeds United are more likely to sign Arnaud Kalimuendo than Martin Terrier this summer, according to James Marshment.

The journalist has been speaking on Joe Wainman’s YouTube channel to discuss the latest transfer news coming out of Elland Road.

Jesse Marsch’s side have had a busy summer window, with six new faces already through the door, however, none of those new additions has been a striker.

The Whites remain to be linked with the likes of Kalimuendo and Terrier as Leeds look set to go into the new campaign with some question marks over who’ll start up top.

Despite scoring recently in a friendly for Paris Saint-Germain, Marshment believes a move is possible to bring the 20-year-old in the coming weeks.

He said: “If you’re asking me which of the two looks more likely, I’d obviously stated I prefer Terrier, but I think Kalimuendo looks the more likely given PSG’s situation of having so many strikers and the fact that he’d probably cost a little bit less.”

TIF Thoughts on Marshment’s comments…

We have been impressed with Leeds’ business this summer in adding to their attacking options, with the likes of Brenden Aaronson and Luis Sinisterra brought in.

Who would you prefer Leeds sign?

However, last season was nothing short of a disaster for Patrick Bamford, who only managed to make nine Premier League appearances and provide two goals (via Transfermarkt).

So going into the new campaign with the same options at striker, which proved to be one of the big factors in Leeds’ struggles, it feels like a huge risk and we think Marsch should absolutely be pushing to bring either Kalimuendo or Terrier to Elland Road this summer.
