Fabrizio Romano has weighed in on Raphinha’s Leeds United future while speaking on his YouTube channel.
Leeds United and their fans may well have been resigned to the fact Raphinha would be departing, although to which club was certainly up in the air with a whole load of clubs in the Premier League and abroad showing an interest in the winger.
However, a recent report has claimed that given Barcelona’s financial issues, Raphinha is now willing to wait for the La Liga outfit to come up with the money Leeds are demanding for his services, something that is now backed up by Romano.
The Italian journalist has claimed that Raphinha and his agent, former Barcelona star Deco, are now willing to give the Catalonian club more time to get their money right.

This won’t be ideal news for the Leeds board, fans or Jesse Marsch that Raphinha and his agent are currently willing to wait for Barcelona as they would surely rather a deal was done and dusted as soon as possible to give them ample time to replace him.
Raphinha has proved to be a stunning signing for Leeds having arrived for just £17 million and racked up 29 goal involvements, while also looking set to land Leeds £60 million in transfer fee, although they’d surely want it as soon as possible to ensure they get a sufficient replacement in time and not in a mad rush come the end of the window.
