West Ham United have ‘no intentions’ of selling Jarrod Bowen to Arsenal this summer, amid rumours the English winger is on the Gunners’ radar, it has been claimed.
It has recently been suggested that the Gunners would potentially like to complete a transfer for the Hammers winger.
But taking to The West Ham Way’s Patreon page, noted insider ExWHUemployee addressed the rumours – and unfortunately, it doesn’t sound as if a deal involving Bowen is looking likely at this moment in time.
Indeed, he explained that West Ham don’t want to sell their main man and will actually be offering him a new contract in the near future.
Ex said: “There has been some talk that Arsenal want to make a move for Bowen. We have been told that the club have no intentions of selling and will in fact be offering him a new much-improved contract when the transfer window closes.”

TIF Thoughts on Arsenal and Jarrod Bowen…
With that in mind, it’s not hard to see why Arsenal may have an interest in signing the impressive winger – especially after their attempts to sign Raphinha came to an end recently, with the Brazilian signing for Barcelona.
However, judging from Ex’s comments, it doesn’t sound as if a transfer for Bowen will be easy to complete. Indeed, West Ham understandably seem intent on keeping the Englishman.
Although, as they will supposedly only offer him a contract at the end of the transfer window, that does suggest there is some time for Arsenal to come in and make a proposal good enough to potentially turn his head. Even so, this deal doesn’t look particularly likely as it stands.
