Charles Watts has stated that Daniel Ballard will still leave Arsenal this summer despite his recent transfer collapse.

While so much of the talk around the Gunners at the moment has been around the possibility of incomings, the club are also looking to offload some players too.

Indeed, their young centre-back Ballard did seem to have lined up a move to Burnley ahead of next season, only for the move to fall through as terms could not be agreed (via The Athletic) .

However, while speaking on his own YouTube channel, Watts explained that Arsenal and Ballard can still expect a move this summer

Playing for Millwall in the Championship last season, Ballard was a mainstay in the team playing 30 times and only dropping out due to a knee injury.
In that loan spell he clearly did enough to impress with Burnley trying to get the aforementioned deal across the line. And, even though that deal fell through, it seems as though he won’t have any shortage of options.
Indeed, backing up Watts’ information, Sunderland are now keen on making a move for the 22-year-old – according to journalist Alan Nixon (via FootballFancast).
Both the player and Arsenal may well have been disappointed to see Ballard not end up at Burnley, but it does look as though he’ll get his move soon enough – which should add a little extra cash for the Gunners’ transfer kitty.
