Pundit and Ex-footballer Kevin Campbell has claimed that Leicester City’s Hamza Choudhury “would be a really good move” for Everton.
The 24-year-old midfield ace looks set to leave the King Power on loan this summer, having only played a bit-part role for much of his career at the Foxes, only making six league appearances last term, and 84 appearances in all competitions since coming up from the U23s in 2018.
The Loughborough-born star has been strongly linked with moves away, with Championship sides West Brom, and Middlesbrough said to be interested in a summer move for the player.
However, a move to a Premier League club may be more beneficial for him, and the Toffees have been linked with a move too, according to the Mirror.
He told Goodison News: “I think whenever he’s come into that Leicester side he’s never let anybody down. He’s tenacious, he’s tough, he loves to put a tackle in, and he’s got plenty of energy.
“You ask anybody in the Premier League, having players like that is at a premium these days. People who are willing to put their bodies on the line.
“So I think that would be a really good move. Another person in that midfield with energy, who can get round the pitch and break things up.”

Despite only clocking up 286 minutes of action in the top flight last term, the midfield destroyer recorded an impressive 82.6% pass success rate when on the field, and averaged 1.5 tackles per game, highlighting that he can provide the steel Lampard needs in his midfield.
Someone possessing the ability to break up play, and control proceedings in the middle of the park is a trait Everton desperately need for next term so the £3.6m-rated Foxes outcast could well turn out to be a bargain buy for the Toffees, considering his contract runs out in the summer of 2023.
The former England U21 international desperately needs a new lease of life elsewhere, at a club where he would get the required game time to kick start his development again, and Goodison Park could well be the perfect environment for him to start his career afresh.
