Celitc may have just dropped a potential hint on the latest regarding the transfers of Jota and Cameron Carter-Vickers.

The Bhoys announced the release of their new away kit for the 2022/23 season and it has been spotted that fans can select both of their transfer targets as options for shirt personalisation.

Both players spent the 2021/22 campaign out on loan at Parkhead but are now both set to return to their parent clubs amid the summer window.

It is believed deals for both players are being discussed with the relevant parties to make their moves to Parkhead permanent ahead of the new campaign.

Sky Sports reported late last month that a deal for the Portuguese winger was edging closer and they did suggest there was an expectation for the potential deal to have been wrapped up by now.

And it seems Carter-Vickers’ future may not be confirmed until the 24-year-old returns from international duty with the United States.

TIF Thoughts on moves for the pair…

This may fill some fans with a lot of hope the Bhoys are closing in on deals for the duo, but it must also be noted that fans can also choose players such as Luca Connell, who has now been released by the club.

Who do you think is more likely to sign?

Some reports have suggested Celtic have been handed a deadline of 15th June by Tottenham Hotspur to wrap up a deal for the Carter-Vickers, with other clubs said to be interested.

It must also be said the transfer window has just opened, so Celtic do still have plenty of time to wrap up these deals, but with the possibility of missing out, Ange Postecoglou will want these deals wrapped up soon.
