According to ExWHUemployee, Armando Broja is open to a move to West Ham United but the deal is currently far away as the clubs cannot come to an agreement on the fee.

The Chelsea striker, who spent last season at Southampton, impressed during his loan and garnered praise from former Chelse legend and Everton manager Frank Lampard. He claimed Broja is “fast, strong, has a real eye for goal and he’s a very, very good young player”.

However, it would now appear that despite the player being open to a possible move to the East London club, the two clubs’ valuation of the player is blocking the transfer until an agreement can be found between the two.

Ex wrote on The West Ham Way’s Patreon page: “The club have spoken to representatives of the club in the last day or so and Chelsea are placing a high transfer value on his head. This value is not what we are prepared to pay and therefore negotiations will take place to see if there is a middle ground that can be met.

“Broja is said to be open to the move to West Ham and thinks his career will have more chance to progress there.”

TIF Thoughts on Broja to West Ham…

The £19.8m-rated striker impressed last season at the Saints, bagging nine goals in all competitions for them and finishing just behind star man James Ward-Prowse as their top scorer. In this time he averaged 1.5 shots, 1.1 dribbles, and 2.4 aerial duels per game while showing his defensive capabilities as well by ranking in the 86th percentile for aerial duels and the 82nd for interceptions compared to other forwards across Europe’s top five leagues.

It has been reported that West Ham is looking to make an offer in the region of £25m to £30m. While that could help Chelsea add to their budget, it is reported they may be apprehensive to sell as well due to the departure of Romelu Lukaku, and Thomas Tuchel wants to give the youngster a chance in pre-season.

West Ham need to bolster their attacking options last season as Michail Antonio is currently 32-years -old and Broja at just 20 could be the answer to their starting role for the next decade if they can get the deal done.
