Journalist Ryan Taylor has been speaking on his YouTube channel about West Ham United transfer target Armando Broja.
Last season, West Ham and David Moyes made the bold decision to put the pressure of leading the line solely on Michail Antonio’s shoulders, but that seemingly won’t be the case again this upcoming campaign, as they are reportedly preparing a £30m bid for Broja.
The Albanian striker burst onto the scene in the Premier League last season during his loan spell at Southampton, which saw him net six goals in 32 league appearances for the Saints – and that record appears to have tempted West Ham into a huge summer bid.
Taylor has been left impressed by Broja and believes £30m could be a bargain for the Hammers in the long run.

The reporter said: “He’s only 20, but he’s like a man – he’s not a young player who’s looking to mature, he literally looks like a man up front, a brute who can bully defenders by himself.
“If you take that into consideration that he’s only going to get bigger, stronger, more experienced, I think Broja’s going to be a serious striker, to be honest with you.
“Over time, £30m could prove a snip. We know West Ham are interested – whether that kind of money would be enough to entice Chelsea into a sale would be something that’s up for a debate.”

As Taylor alluded to, an initial outlay of £30m, while it may look expensive for someone with just six Premier League goals to his name, if he is coached and developed right, Broja could become a top striker in a few years and pay off that kind of fee.
However, there is still no guarantee that Chelsea will accept a £30m offer that West Ham are preparing, and if they demand more than that amount, it could be seen as too risky of a deal for someone still so young and largely unproven, so we feel the Hammers should not be held to ransom.
