According to ExWHUemployee, West Ham United could be in to sign relegated Watford’s star man, Ismaila Sarr in a bid to bolster their attacking options with another season of European football coming up for the East London club.

Sarr has impressed during his time at Watford, both in the Premier League and the Championship, but now it seems the Senegalese forward could be on the way out of the club after their most recent relegation, with the Hammers now linked for a swoop.

A recent update on the news comes from ExWHUemployee, who stated that West Ham could be in a double swoop including Sarr and his teammate Emmanuel Dennis and believes they will first look to sign Sarr as his attributes will provide them with a lot of options.

He wrote on his Patreon, “West Ham currently have an interest in two Watford players Emmanuel Dennis and Ismaïla Sarr. It is thought that we will make a move for both in the coming weeks with attention moving towards Sarr soon.

“The 24-year-old Senegalese international winger has had interest from top clubs before and his pace and versatility along the front line would provide us with a lot of options.”

TIF thoughts on Sarr to West Ham…

West Ham needs to add more depth to their attacking positions this summer as they will have a lot of football to play and will only have Michail Antonio, Jarrod Bowen, and Said Benrahma as recognised attackers.

Sarr, who has been described as a ‘freak talent’, has impressed at Watford, racking up 24 goals and 19 assists in his 92 appearances for the club, including five goals and two assists in 22 games last season. The Senegalese forward averaged 1.8 shots, 0.9 key passes, and 1.4 dribbles per game last season with 77.8% passing accuracy on 17.5 average passes per game. (Whoscored)

While he may not start for the Irons next season he could be a great backup for any of the front-line options and could feature heavily in cup games like the FA Cup and the Europa Conference League, but the £24.3m valuations could be a little steep.
