Michael Bridge has revealed the Tottenham latest involving Richarlison.

The Athletic journalist David Ornstein recently revealed that Tottenham were interested in signing Richarlison and were prepared to offer £51.5m (€60m) for the Brazilian forward.

However, the Toffees are thought to be seeking between £56m-61m for the 25-year-old.

And, it now looks as if they’re set to step up their interest.

As posted on the Football Daily’s Twitter account Bridge said:

Do you remember who Alex Iwobi was signed from?

While the 35-capped Brazil international once again showed his capabilities last season leading the club for both goals and assists his clubmate enjoyed a breakthrough campaign at Goodison Park.

Another Spurs-linked star from Everton is Anthony Gordon, who was involved in seven goals as he made 40 appearances and was lauded for his display in the Merseyside derby at Anfield by Stephen Warnock.

His 6.7 average match rating for the season meant he ranked fifth among teammates who played 25 games or more (SofaScore) and the 21-year-old is certainly an exciting prospect for the Antonio Conte to add to their homegrown quota should they look to make a move and so long as the price is right.

I wanted to register my vote up there, but it wouldn’t stick. .. Richaliison is a total waste of money in my view.
