It has been claimed that Newcastle United may have made a bid for Keane Lewis-Potter, alongside two other Premier League clubs.
The Hull City man certainly looks to be a player in high demand this summer, with West Ham United being touted as a possible destination for him recently.
However, it looks as though Newcastle and Everton could also be in for the 21-year-old winger if this latest transfer claim is accurate.
Indeed, while speaking on The West Ham Way Podcast, insider ExWHUemployee outlined who he suspects are the three teams to have made a formal approach for the Englishman.
He explained: “Keane Lewis-Potter of Hull – apparently three bids have gone in from Premier League clubs.
“These clubs are unconfirmed. I would expect one of them’s Everton, I wouldn’t be surprised if the other’s Newcastle, and I wouldn’t be surprised if we’ve [West Ham] tested the water on him as well.”
However, he went on to claim: “I can’t confirm if that’s official.”

Despite still only being 21 years of age, Lewis-Potter, who was called ‘outstanding’ by Clinton Morrison, was a key player for Hull in the Championship last season. He played 45 games, while scoring 12 goals and claiming four assists.
No doubt, he must be highly rated by a number of clubs, with at least three Premier League sides now said to have put in an official bid for him.
It remains to be seen as to whether or not Newcastle were indeed one of these teams. But if Ex’s comments are true, the winger could well end up with the Magpies next season.
After all, due to the club’s significant wealth, they would surely be strong favourites to come out on top in almost any bidding war over the summer.
