Dean Jones has revealed the price tag Liverpool have put on Sadio Mane while speaking on The Done Deal Show.

Prior to last weekend’s Champions League final, Mane told the media that he would comment on what his Liverpool future looks like after the match, and while he is still yet to officially do so, reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano has revealed the winger wishes to leave Anfield this summer.

While nothing official has come from either Mane or Liverpool, it appears that the winger, who’s won six trophies with the Reds, could well be on his way out, with German giants Bayern Munich seemingly the frontrunners to land his signature.

Jones believes that it will take an offer in the region of £35-40 million for someone to sign Mane.

He said: “I think the first talk was of like £25m and Liverpool were like, ‘if that’s an offer that’s going to come in for Sadio Mane, then we can tell you that will be rejected’.

Would you be worried if Mane was sold?

No!

“So if Bayern Munich want Sadio Mane, which they do, if Sadio Mane wants to move on from Liverpool, which I believe he does, I think it will probably take a transfer in the region of £35m. £35-40m I think will get you Mane at this point.”

TIF Thoughts on Mane’s future…

It’s no surprise that clubs such as Bayern Munich are on red alert with Mane potentially available this summer and for such a relatively low price given his outstanding attacking output that he’s been able to showcase since joining Liverpool, with 168 goal involvements in just 269 games.

While it would be a huge blow and very strange to not see Mane in a Liverpool shirt or in the Premier League in general, the Reds have already started to potentially bring in his replacements, with the likes of Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz enjoying solid seasons at Anfield last term with 27 goals between them.
