Journalist Dean Jones has claimed that Leeds United winger Raphinha is “open to literally everything” in relation to an Elland Road exit this summer.

Speaking on the Ranks FC podcast, Jones was discussing Leeds’ potential summer transfer plans as they potentially prepare for life without some of their major players.

Raphinha has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona, while Liverpool are also reportedly back in contention for his signature.

Meanwhile, The Telegraph revealed that Arsenal are considering a move, while north London rivals Tottenham also hold an interest.

Spanish outlet Sport claimed that Barcelona had agreed a five-year deal with the player, but their ongoing financial struggles could derail their ambitions, and with plenty of clubs waiting in the wings, Jones has stated that the Brazilian could end up elsewhere.

Should Leeds accept £60m for Raphinha?

The Whites are thought to have set the asking price at £60m for the 7-cap Brazil international, who is still under contract at the club until 2024.

He led the club with 11 goals last season to stave off relegation, but with a hefty sum, manager Jesse Marsch could try and fill the void left by the winger as well as investing in other areas of the squad that are lacking.

The Mirror is reporting that executives at Thorp Arch are hoping to bring in a striker after Patrick Bamford missed large parts of the most recent campaign through injury, and a chunk of Raphinha’s proposed fee could go a long way in bringing in a guarantee of goals, with New York City striker Taty Castellanos the heaviest of names linked.
