Leeds United are set to add another new signing to their squad in the coming days in the form of Bayern Munich’s Marc Roca.
This has been suggested by insider Fabrizio Romano, who has been speaking on the latest edition of his Here We Go podcast when discussing the latest transfer news.
Jesse Marsch has already seen two new additions come through the door at Thorp Arch this summer, with Brenden Aaronson and Rasmus Kristensen both signing from RB Salzburg.
And it seems a verbal agreement has been found between the Whites and Bayern for €12m (£10.4m) plus add-ons, which will see the 25-year-old sign on a four-year deal.
With the two clubs now expecting the player to make the move this summer, Romano provided the latest on when he expects the Spaniard to complete the move to Yorkshire, saying:
“He has an agreement on personal terms with Leeds – a four-year contract until 2026. The two clubs are negotiating, Leeds and Bayern, but the expectation is a deal to be completed in the coming days for a fee of around €14m because Bayern want €15m – they are offering €12m plus bonuses, but very good feelings around [this] Marc Roca deal.”

This will surely only be further encouragement to the Leeds faithful, with the Whites looking to act quickly this summer to improve their squad after what was a dreadful 2021/22 campaign.

And in Roca, Leeds will be getting a player who does have experience in playing for one of the best sides in Europe, with two Bundesliga titles to his name.
But he has struggled for game time since arriving at the German outfit, so there may be an element of risk in signing him, with Roca having failed to make a real impression at Bayern.
Yet, he has a lot more experience to his name in La Liga, having been a mainstay in the Espanyol side, while he will have the whole of pre-season under Marsch, so Leeds have given him the best opportunity to be ready for the new campaign.
