Leeds United are exploring the possibility of signing Tyler Adams this summer, with the American expected to move on this window.

This has been explained by Fabrizio Romano, with the insider discussing the Yorkshire club’s latest transfer news on the Que Golazo YouTube channel.

The Whites are expected to complete the potential signing of Marc Roca in the coming days from Bayern Munich, with a deal agreed between the two clubs.

However, the good news does not seem to end there, with Romano claiming Jesse Marsch has an eye on RB Leipzig midfielder Adams, who is on Leeds’ list.

With the Whites looking to move early having already brought in two new names, Romano discussed the possibility of Adams potentially becoming the fourth addition with Roca seemingly set to sign.

Speaking about Adams’ future, he said: “My feeling is yes, my feeling is he’s going to leave the club this summer. At the moment, there is still nothing agreed with any club. You mentioned clubs interested, of course, it’s normal. So many clubs are exploring this possibility, including Leeds, but at the moment, still nothing agreed.

“For Tyler Adams, he’s a name they have, of course, in the list with Jesse Marsch – it’s absolutely normal to consider him as an interesting opportunity for the midfield.”

TIF Thoughts on Romano’s comments…

Adams is certainly a player who Marsch is familiar with, and we think with this being the case, it will be another sign of the board backing the manager in bringing in players he wants.

Would Adams and Roca be good Phillips replacements?

Yes

Yes

No

No

Marsch has already reunited with Brenden Aaronson and Rasmus Kristensen this summer, and it sounds as if he would also like to bring Adams to Elland Road.

However, if Leeds were to add another midfielder on top of the expected arrival of Roca, we think this could be a big sign Kalvin Phillips may be headed for the exit.

Reports are suggesting Manchester City are looking to make their move for the Yorkshireman, but would Roca, and potentially Adams, be sufficient replacements? Only time will tell.
