Journalist Ben Jacobs has claimed on The Done Deal Show that while Leeds United aren’t near the front of the queue for Christian Eriksen, they could make some advances in the coming days.
The Denmark international is seemingly being linked with plenty of clubs at the moment as he makes a decision on his future as he is now a free agent.
The likes of Manchester United, Leeds and Tottenham Hotspur are being credited with an interest.
The former appear to be the frontrunners, although they have already made a proposal to Eriksen, and with reports claiming he’s turned Erik ten Hag down, Jacobs believes other clubs, including Leeds, could soon advance in their pursuit of the Dane.
Jacobs dropped a potential exciting claim regarding Eriksen and Leeds on The Done Deal Show.

He said: “Upwards – if you count January and now – of seven Premier League clubs amazingly, so pushing one and two, have looked at Eriksen, and therefore you would expect more offers, but right now that just isn’t the case.
“So Manchester United, Brentford – in the mix. Behind them at the moment but they could advance in the next week – Leicester, Leeds, there’s talk of West Ham United still as well; and Spurs is the least likely scenario, and that’s where we stand at the moment.”
TIF Thoughts on Leeds wanting Eriksen…
If Leeds and Victor Orta were able to put together a strong enough proposal that Eriksen would turn down the likes of Man United, Spurs and West Ham in favour of a move to Elland Road, it would be a stunning achievement.
Eriksen proved last season that he still has plenty to give at the very top of the game, as he managed to hit the ground running at Brentford with one goal and four assists during the second half of the campaign, so he would add some much-needed creativity at Leeds – especially if Raphinha does leave.
