TEAMTalk journalist James Marshment has said that rumoured Leeds United transfer target Tyler Adams ‘ticks all the boxes’.
While so much of the focus in Yorkshire at the moment is on Kalvin Phillips – who looks set for a summer move to Manchester City – the Whites seem to already be looking a new players who could come in and help the squad if the midfielder does end up leaving.
Indeed, while talking on a recent he Que Golazo Podcast (via TEAMtalk) transfer guru Fabrizio Romano claimed that Leeds could be a destination for the American who looks set to leave RB Leipzig.
When talking about the player on the JUSTJOE FOOTBALL SHOW, Marshment said that a move for Adams would makes a lot of sense.
He outlined his opinion, saying (18:18): “Now he’s the one who ticks all the boxes, really because Jesse obviously knows him well from his time at both Leipzig, and before that Tyler Adams played with him under New York Red Bulls.
“He has signed him twice. So he’s obviously a player that Jesse Marsch knows extremely well. So you would think with Leipzig seemingly willing to let him go…”
