Everton forward Richarlison is now hoping for a move away from Goodison Park this summer after a difficult campaign on Merseyside.

This is according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who has been speaking on the latest episode of his Here We Go podcast.

With the Toffees narrowly avoiding the drop down into the Championship, it seems the Brazilian is now looking to make the move away as he targets (via ToffeeWeb) a spot in the Champions League.

Although the 25-year-old has spoken of his desire to play in the elite European tournament with the Toffees, it is apparent Frank Lampard’s side are light years away from getting anywhere near.

And having recently changed his agents, Romano believes this could be a summer of change for Richarlison, with a move on his radar in the coming months.

He said: “Richarlison has changed his agents, as we announced in April. He has new agents, now he’s working with CAA Base, and so keep an eye on Richarlison, because he’s hoping for a possible move this summer and he could be one of the players to watch. It’s a possibility for him to leave Everton this summer.”

TIF Thoughts on Romano’s comments…

After 30 appearances in the Premier League in the 2021/22 campaign, Richarlison was able to provide Lampard’s men with 10 goals and five assists (via Transfermarkt).

And it seems this form has conjured up interest from a number of big European sides, with the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain all linked.

With the summer window approaching, the 25-year-old has made his stance pretty clear when speaking recently to the media on his future:

“I’ve already made it clear to the board, I’ve already talked to Lampard too, with my managers and they know what I want. Let’s wait for June,” he said.

With that in mind, perhaps Everton will be preparing for life without the Brazilian next season.
